Originally formed in 1984 as an HVAC Test and Balance company TSI’s services have grown to include a myriad of services related to the design, construction, commissioning (new construction, LEED, retro-commissioning) and independent testing of building mechanical, electrical and fire life safety systems including HEPA filter leak tests, clean room certification, sound and vibration testing.

Testing Specialties Incorporated (TSI) was incorporated in 1984 as an independent HVAC Testing and Balancing company serving building owners, general contractors and building mechanical contractors. Since that time TSI’s services have grown to meet the varying needs of its many clients. TSI’s core business has grown to include independent building HVAC systems testing and balancing, HVAC controls calibrations and performance testing, commissioning, stairwell and fire smoke control systems testing, engineering peer review, building energy audits, building energy modeling and energy star certifications for corporate, governmental and non-governmental organizations throughout North America. We also perform clean room and HEPA filter leak testing.
